A little help, whenever you need it
Let’s get you
playing.
Find a quick answer below, follow a guide, or get in touch. You do not need a Concerting account.

The owners’ guides use real animated recordings to show you the controls, one small step at a time.
Getting started
Where should I start?
Choose a familiar piece and press Play. On a phone, turn sideways to follow the notes. Try changing one instrument and listen for the difference.
The main unlock guide introduces the player, library, instruments, Mixes and settings. The Practice guide then takes you through the extra tools for playing along.
Purchases & restoring
What is free, and what do the purchases add?
The free edition contains 100 pieces and 18 instruments. Full unlocks the complete library, every instrument and high quality recordings. Practice tools add focused practice controls and My Music imports, and require Full on mobile.
These are one-time purchases. The App Store or Google Play shows the price in your currency before you confirm. The desktop edition is still in development.
I bought an unlock. How do I restore it?
Connect to the internet and sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account that made the purchase. In Concerting, open Settings, then Purchases, and choose Restore purchases.
Restoring checks ownership with the store. It does not recover Mixes or imported music. An Apple purchase is restored through Apple; a Google Play purchase is restored through Google Play.
If the unlock is still missing, check that the store completed the purchase, then contact us with the product name and what Restore showed. Do not send payment-card details.
How do I ask about a charge or refund?
Use the help for the store where you bought Concerting. Eligibility and the request process depend on the store, your location and the circumstances. You can also contact us for help with a purchase problem.

Will my Mixes and music follow me to another device?
Concerting has no account or automatic synchronisation service. Restoring purchases restores your unlocks, not your saved music.
Share or export important Mixes before changing devices. A Mix file preserves choices for built-in pieces; it does not contain imported My Music pieces, scores or audio. Keep the original files for anything you import.
On Android, cloud backup is configured to include settings and Mixes but exclude My Music. Direct device-to-device transfer on Android 12 and later can include My Music. Apple backups and device transfers depend on your device settings. A backup or transfer is not a guarantee that everything will be restored.
Which music files can I import?
With Practice tools, My Music accepts MusicXML (including compressed MusicXML) and MIDI. It does not import PDF scores or audio recordings.
Files are converted on your device. Keep your originals somewhere safe: Concerting keeps the converted notes and related information, not a backup of the original file. MIDI may contain less notation information than MusicXML.
How can I remove my saved information?
Remove individual Mixes or imported pieces inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local data; on Android, clearing app storage does this too. Offloading an app on iPhone can retain its data, so use Delete App when you want it removed.
This does not remove older device backups, files you exported or copies you shared. Manage those separately through the relevant device or service. Uninstalling also does not cancel or erase a store purchase.
Sound & playback
The music is playing, but I cannot hear it.
Check your device’s media volume and where its sound is going: a Bluetooth headset, speaker or other output may still be connected.
Check that Concerting’s master sound and at least one part are on. In Practice, check Your part’s listening level: Off deliberately leaves your part for you to play. Try a built-in piece with its original instruments.
If it still happens, pause and reopen the app. Tell us which device, piece and output you were using. Avoid reinstalling as a first step, because it can remove saved information.
Playback stops when I lock the screen.
Check your device’s battery and background-activity settings for Concerting, especially on Android. Also check whether another app or a call has taken over the audio output.
If it keeps happening, note whether the screen was locked, the output was Bluetooth and a battery-saving mode was active, then contact us with your device and app version.
Does listening need an internet connection?
The installed phone app includes its built-in music, notation and instrument recordings, so listening works offline.
Buying and restoring unlocks, refreshing store information, downloading app updates and opening website links need a connection. There is no Concerting account to sign into.
