The main unlock is called the Full release in the app. On mobile, Practice tools are an addition to the Full release. Platform availability and controls can differ; the guide points out the differences where they matter.
Your first few minutes
A lovely place
to begin.
Find something familiar
Open Browse and choose a piece you know. Let it play before you change anything—then you have something to compare.
Follow one musical line
On a tablet or computer, select a player’s name. On a phone, turn sideways and swipe between the players. Listen for that line in the ensemble.
Make one small change
Open that player’s instrument choices and try a new sound. When you find a combination worth keeping, add it to a Mix.
